NRC Group har avtalat om att sälja större delen av sin geo-verksamhet i Norge, Sverige och Finland till Terratec AS. Företagen det gäller är Blom Geomatics AS, Blom Karta Oy, och största andelarna i Blom Sweden AB. Prislappen är 30 miljoner norska kronor.

Verksamheterna som säljs utgör idag cirka 60 procent av omsättningen på geosidan. Blom är Europas ledande leverantör inom insamling, bearbetning och modellering av flygbaserad geografisk information.

There are a number of synergies between Blom Nordic and Terratec and the combination will strengthen both companies’ ability to serve our customers and drive innovation within the geo industry going forward, säger Lennart Flem, vd och ordförande för Blom Geomatics.

– We are glad to see this transaction with Terratec taking place. Terratec and Blom Nordic will form the definite market leader within acquisition, processing and modelling of geographic information in the Nordics, and through the earn-out arrangement we will be able to take part of that. The remaining Geo business will have a stronger focus on infrastructure, säger Helge Midttun, ordförande för NRC Groups styrelse. 

Affären kommer att slutföras under mars månad.
